S'fat Emet on Sukkot (with Richard Friedman)
Time & Location
About the Event
The S'fat Emet was Rebbe of the Gerer Hasidim and died in 1905. The summaries of his talks on Shabbat and Chaggim are creative, frequently provocative, and surprisingly modern. We'll study some of his pieces about Sukkot -- one each night of Chol HaMoed. These texts are in Hebrew (without translations) but the conversation will be in English, so don't be deterred even if your Hebrew reading ability is short of fluent. We'll study a different text each night, so if you can participate some nights even if you don't participate on others. Questions? Contact Richard Friedman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
